The EX-s Series wireless backhaul systems from Exalt are fully software configurable, carrier-class systems featuring native TDM and native IP transport, low latency, and high spectral efficiency, flexibility, and security.

The EX-s Series radios feature 1.5RU and 1RU IDU/ODU configurations with plug-and-play auto-configuration for global FCC/ANSI and ITU/CEPT licensed bands from 6 to 40 GHz.

The software configurable capacity of the Exalt EX-s Series systems eliminates the need for field-replaceable plug-in modules and provides a seamless upgrade path for native TDM and native IP.  This flexibility allows service providers to minimize latency while managing existing TDM traffic, and provides a smooth transition for emerging IP applications. 


The EX-s series plug-and-play ODUs have been designed to interface with any of the IDU
options through a single coax cable with fully automatic configuration. This helps users
reduce overall cost through simple installation, minimized sparing, and simple maintenance.
Other features include security with AES encryption and secure SNMPv3 management.
Configurable in standalone 1+0, monitored hot-standby 1+1, and space diversity, the EX-s
series also provides enhanced fault-management and diagnostic features with 99.999% link
availability for true carrier-class performance.
