Bi-Directional Amplifier with Automatic Gain Control (AGC) for outdoor

Comtech, a leading provider of enhanced wireless access products offers
a 4-in-1 bi-directional amplifier, providing increased access range and
improved system flexibility and efficiency. The FCI-2401 provides four
(4) selectable output signal
settings of 100 mW, 250 mW, 500 mW and 1 Watt configurable via an
integrated
IR link. Capable of sensing the input power level, the product
automatically compensates for cable loss and stabilizes output power in
extreme environmental conditions. This weather-tight design, with an
extended temperature range of –40°C to +85°C, allows for
outdoor installations. This
device can be used with both Direct Sequence and Frequency Hopping
Spread Spectrum wireless equipment. Integrated lightning protection is
also provided. The FCI-2401 Outdoor Unit package includes: The amplifier unit in a NEMA 4 enclosure, mounting hardware, DC power injector unit and AC power adapter. Ideal for wireless ISP’s, Hotspot providers, Enterprise Networks, and unique wireless applications requiring increased signal strength. |
