The OD5-2400/5500MOD2 antennas are extreme environment versions of our popular OD Series Omni-Directional Antennas. They are Fixed Wireless, special Marine/Sea Water resistant antennas. In addition, they have external metal fittings protected for the typical sea or harbor environment. Also, It has a powder coated base and mount assembly. Other mounting hardware is stainless steel. This antenna is a viable solution for wide area network. Applications included are high vibration environments such as Mining, quarry, and oil field construction. The OD5-2400/5500MOD2 series is a solution for a wide area network. In addition, the feed assembly is machined aluminum components and irridited for weather protection. These antennas are colinear arrays. Furthermore, unique phasing cancels out-of-phase current distribution, improving performance.
